Editor’s Note: While lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender pride parades march down the main street of many U.S. cities like San Francisco, in Nepal the country’s only LGBT group struggles to have its voice heard. But Sunil Pant, the founder of the Blue Diamond Society in Nepal, tells UpFront host Sandip Roy that LGBT populations in Nepal are trying to take advantage of the democracy movement, perhaps even amending the country’s constitution.
