SAN JOSE –– It is common practice among Taiwanese students to seek tertiary education overseas in colleges and universities in the United States.
But because of the rapidly growing economy in Asia, many Chinese American parents are encouraging their children to study in prestigious local universities in Asia to gain invaluable “Asian cultural experience."
National Chiao Tung University (NCTU) in Hsinchu, Taiwan is one of many universities in Asia attracting overseas Chinese students to enroll in their academic program. According to report by Asia Inc. magazine, NCTU’s College of Management is ranked fifth among Asia’s best Business Schools.
Entry to the MBA program at NCTU is very competitive, requiring applicants to have strong undergraduate results as well as competitive GMAT scores.
NTCU’s College of Management has recently reached an agreement with the University of California Berkeley’s Haas School of Business to begin an MBA students and professors exchange program between the two schools.
