N.J.: Lieutenant Governor with Anti-Immigrant Past

El Diario/La Prensa, Posted: Nov 05, 2009

NEWARK, N. J. -- Immigrant rights organizations were alarmed by the election of Kim Guadagno as lieutenant governor of New Jersey because she has supported the implementation of 287 (g), which allows local law enforcement to enforce federal immigration laws, reports El Diario/La Prensa. In her position as Monmouth County Sheriff, Guadagno last year requested that the county allow correctional officers to perform the functions of immigration officers. Last July, her application was accepted by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and the program began in September at the Monmouth County Jail, the first correctional facility to enforce the 287 (g) agreement in the Garden State. Emiliano Lemus, director of the Alliance for Latino Leadership's immigration committee, said his organization will continue to fight the program, but noted that some are afraid that Guadagno will now have the power to extend it across the state. However, Martín Pérez, president of the Alliance, told El Diario/La Prensa that Guadagno had assured him that she opposes the implementation of 287(g) across the state. Republican Christopher Christie, who was elected Tuesday as New Jersey's next governor, has said that he does not agree with 287 (g) because it is not effective and can lead to abuses.

People who are in this nation, working, living, WITHOUT PREMISSION, deserve not the slightest consideration from lawabiding American citizens. Americans owe them NOTHING, NADA, ZILCH, NIX, NYET,etc.
What they do deserve is to be deported back to the place they came from, ON THE CHEAPEST AND FASTEST THING SMOKING. PERIOD. END OF ARGUMENT. Existing immigration law, created by Americans, JUSTIFIES BOOTING THEM OUT, YESTERDAY. THE TITLE OF THE ABOVE ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN BY A LAWLESS NEWSPAPER, A SOURCE THAT IS NOT CARE ABOUT THE BEST INTERESTS OF AMERICANS, AND IT'S A LIE TO BOOT. Being anti-immigrant and anti-illegal immigration is not the same thing for the simple fact that you don't need to justify being anti-illegal immigration. Existing U.S. Immigration law is justification enough.

What could the Lt. Governor of N.J. be thinking? She wants to enforce immigration law? Why, doesn't she know that anything illegal aliens and their supporters don't want are the laws of the US enforced? Illegals come from lawless countries and are surprised that the US just might not want people breaking in. The sense of entitlement they and the pro-illegals traitors have is immense. No one who has broken in ever deserves to have amnesty. If their first act is to dishonor our laws, they will never conform. Go home and stay. We need a 10-yr. moratorium on ALL immigration until we get this mess straightened out.

(1) Securing the borders to prevent illegal aliens (and criminals and terrorists) from crossing them; (2) Enforcing immigration laws; (3) Deporting newly-apprehended illegal aliens; (4) Deporting aliens who overstay their visas; (5) Denying "sanctuary cities" (that protect invaders) from receiving federal funds for aiding and abetting lawlessness; (6) Promoting English and assimilation in all U.S. institutions — not bilingualism or "multiculturalism." (7) Controlling immigration so as to allow for workable assimilation. (8) Denial of most social services to illegal aliens; (9) Repelling Mexico's interference in U.S. internal affairs; and (10) Elimination of birthright migration and chain migration "which put the alien's desires before society's well-being."

The mexican mantra

All of the laws should be enforced equally, regardless of race, religion, and/or national origin. That is with the exception of mexicans, and they should be above the law and exempt from the law. And the only purpose that a tonto gringo serves is to pay taxes to support the superior and noble mexican.

Anyone who disagrees with this philosophy is Xenophobic and a Racist.

The United States has always welcomed Legal immigrants; the problem in the United States has to do with ILLEGALS invading our nation with out any genuine desire to assimilate as citizens but only obtain citizenship in an effort to steal from our treasury and take jobs from citizens sending their ill gotten gains back to their home countries while planning their return.

If our laws define who and who isn't an immigrant, then illegal aliens aren't to be recognized as immigrants anymore than foreign visitors to Yellowstone Park.

Americans are against immigrants. The immigrants were not and are not welcome in US, they should stay home. The immigrants are smart and take our jobs. Let's stop immigrants come here and close the border. Even if they are very bright, we don't want them here to help us with our economy. I understand that we get a lot of money for their immigration documents, but we hate immigrants. Stop.

Once again, the Media gets it wrong and is still refusing to tell the real truth. The Lt Governor is opposed to ILLEGAL immigration, he is not ANTI immigration. Is there any wonder why the press is losing this battle? You refuse to report the truth. Truth will always rise above a lie, half truth, or what every your calling your misinformation these days. The readers are smarter than you give them credit for. You are insulting your readers by assuming they don't know the difference. We know the difference between someone who IMMIGRATES to the country and one who illegally crosses the border. When the media stops pandering to law breakers and illegal aliens, they will then and only then start repairing the damage they have self inflicted upon themselves by offending those who obey the laws.

Golly. A Lt. Gov. who actually believes that the law should be enforced. What a concept! And how about using the correct terminology, "anti-illegal-alien"? Come to that, why is it HISPANIC groups who seem to fear this the most? Could it be because Hispanics don't seem to think that laws apply to them?
